DESCRIPTION

Rock drilling tools mainly ensure transmitting impact power into rock as efficiency, accurately and economically. Our rods and bits are developed and designed to give you great versitality, higher penetration rates, lower energy consumption, straighter holes, with less deviation and longer service life.

Types and Features:

BITS:

1).Tapered system is a further development of the integral system. It features many sizes bits in diameter and different face type of bits can be used on the same rod. There are two cross sections which are 22mm and 25mm in diameter and the length up to 8000mm. And the hole sizes range from 21mm-41mm in diameter. Thread bits mainly range from 41mm to 152mm. 

2).Top hammer bits can also be classified as button type and blade type. 

Button bits feature bit diameter, skirt length, skirt diameter, wall thickness, gauge clearance angle, face design, and button insert types. There are two types of skirts which are retrac and straightrac. The bit faces including recessed face as well as named drop center face, flat face, chisel face and dome face. The insert button type including hemispherical button which is abrasive and suited to hard ground, ballistic button which is suited to soft ground, parabolic button as well as named semi ballistic button which is mildly abrasive ground and suited to medium ground and conical button which is best suited for smaller diameter bits and suited to all non-abrasive ground. And for number of buttons, 3-6 buttons are inserted in 33mm-45mm bits in diameter. 4-6 buttons are inserted in 45mm-51mm bits in diameter. 6-10 buttons are inserted in larger 51mm bits in diameter.

Blade bit designs two types of face, cross and X type face. Usually, cross type face ranges 32mm to 57mm bits in diameter and X type face ranges 57mm or larger diameter bits. Blade bit is the best choice for the very hard and abrasive ground because they tend to resist gauge wear better than button bits. But blade bits are not as productive as button bits and have higher drilling costs than button bits.
 

RODS:
1). Round Rods: Round rods are more lightweight than hexagonal rods and typically used in long hole extension drilling.

2).Hexagon Rods: Hexagon rods are more rigid and transfer energy more efficiently than round rods, making perfect for short hole applications.

3).Handheld Steel: Handheld steel also named short hole steel. The hexagonal chuck section provides leverage for the rotation chuck bushing. The forged collar maintain the shank striking face position in the rock drill, and a tapered bit end. The lengths are available from 0.6m to 3.6m in length which are measured from the collar to the bit end. 

4).Extension Steel: Extension steel features the longer steel and larger in diameter. There are hexagonal and round cross sections. But round cross sections are more popular.

5).Tunneling Steel: Tunneling Steel mainly bumps up the drive end of drifting steel for added strength at the rock drill end to accommodate larger diameter and shank adapters. Drill steel is available in many standard lengths to match the drill feeds on a multitude of available drifting jumbos.

6).Male/Female Steel: MF Rod or MF Steel, short for Male/Female Steel or Male/Female Rod. Replacing couplings and include the female part of the threaded connection as an integral part of the drill steel. MF Rod ensure more rigid connections and is easier to handle. Otherwise, the service life is longer than with separate coupling.
